Fernando Suarez Ocampo was born on September 4, 1979 as the second child and only son of Purisima De Mesa Suarez and Michael Reduta Ocampo.
He has two sisters, both working abroad.
He finished his elementary and secondary education in Guagua, Pampanga.
His college years were spent at Microtech School of Computer Technology with an Associate Degree in Computer Science.
In 2010, he started his political career as a Kagawad in Barangay Hulo. He became a member of the Samahan sa Mandaluyong ng mga Kagawad sa Barangay (SAMAKABA).
He felt that he can widen his knowledge in political service if he takes part in the following local elections in which he opted to run as a City Councilor.
So in 2013, he run and was elected as one of the City Councilors for District 2.
He also became a re-electionist Councilor in the last 2016 local elections.
Until now, he holds the Chairmanship of the Committees on Livelihood, Cooperatives and Marginalized Sectors, as well as the Head of the Tricycle Franchising Board.
He is also a member of the Councilors League of the Philippines and the National Movement of Young Legislators.
