The Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod takes custody of local legislative archives.
She is tasked with keeping the journal of all ordinances and resolutions enacted by the Sangguniang Panlungsod and the journal of proceedings of Sanggunian meetings.
She forwards to the City Mayor for approval copies of ordinances enacted by the Sanggunian.
