Antonio de los Santos Suva was born on September 25, 1970 in Manila.
He took his college at the University of the East, Manila, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce.
His mother, Carmencita de los Santos-Suva, was formerly a Malacañang Press Undersecretary.
His late grandfather, Epifanio de los Santos, was known as the greatest among the great Filipino scholars; a man of so many talents, the first Filipino Academician; and EDSA has been named after him. Epifanio de los Santos was also a former Governor of Nueva Ecija from 1902-1904.
Antonio is married to Diana Dalisay-Suva and they have four (4) siblings, namely; Matthew, Charles, Diane Bernadette and Antonio Suva III.
For his professional/work experiences: He was a Consultant, Mayor’s Action Command (MAC) (1999-2003); Barangay Kagawad of Barangay New Zaniga (2000-2002); Barangay Captain of Barangay New Zaniga (2002-2007); Founder of Antonio Suva Fire and Rescue Volunteer; and former three (3) termer Councilor of District 1 of the City of Mandaluyong.
As Councilor, he held various committee, such as Chairman, Committee on Transportation and Communication Services; Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Livelihood and Cooperatives and Marginalized Groups and Ways and Means; and Member of the following committee – Tricycle Franchising Board; Laws, Rules and Barangay Affairs; Landed Estates; Peace and Order and Public Services and Fire Protection; and Youth and Sports Development.
Currently, he is on his first term as VICE-MAYOR of Mandaluyong City and the National Deputy Treasurer, Vice-Mayors League of the Philippines.
