HONORING YOUNG MANDALEÑO ACHIEVERS

Two of Mandaluyong’s female athletes were given recognition by Mayor Menchie Abalos during the recent Monday Program. Sweetberry Perez of the Mandaluyong Wrestling Team won gold medal in the recent Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship and a silver medal in the Beach Wrestling Championship, both held in Bangkok, Thailand while Darlene Ferrer, a member of the Mandaluyong Karatedo Team, won gold medal in the recently held 2nd Indonesian Open Championship, subsequently qualifying as Philippine Representative in the upcoming 30th Southeast Asian Games.
