KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and oversee safety and pollution control measures in compliance with regulatory standards, including but not limited to MGB, PGENRO, DENR, and other relevant agencies.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and inmplement safety training programs for employees, emphasizing best practices in nmining and manufacturing operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies, including incident reports, environmental impact assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that safety and pollution control measures are integrated into daily operations.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a safety officer or pollution control officer in the mining and manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of regulations and standards set by MGB, PGENRO, DENR, and other relevant agencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve safety and environmental goals. - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
