The City Government of Mandaluyong was awarded the Dangal ng Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Serbisyo Publiko-Hall of Fame Award from the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), marking its fifth consecutive award for its continuous implementation of using the Filipino language in public service as stated in Executive Order 335.
Mandaluyong City Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos received the prestigious recognition on behalf of Mayor Ben Abalos during the awarding ceremony at the Diamond Hotel in Manila last Wednesday (August 31).
“Maraming salamat po muli sa pagkilala sa aming lungsod at karangalan po para sa amin sa Mandaluyong na maabot ang pinakamataas na parangal at mahirang bilang isa sa mga walang tigil na sumusuporta sa adhikain ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino,” sabi ni Vice Mayor Abalos.
Mandaluyong City is one of two local government units who received the Dangal ng Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Serbisyo Publiko-Hall of Fame Award.
