Councilor Suva was born on September 25, 1970.
His parents are the late Antonio Delos Santos Suva Sr. and Carmencita Delos Santos-Suva, a former Malacañang Press Undersecretary for 46 years.
Councilor Suva is married to Diana Dalisay-Suva with whom he has four (4) children, namely Matthew, Charles, Diane Bernadette and Antonio Suva III.
His late grandfather, Epifanio Delos Santos, was known as the greatest among the great Filipino scholars, a man of so many talents, the first academician and former Governor of Nueva Ecija from 1902-1904. EDSA, the circumferential highway in Metro Manila, is named after him.
He is also a businessman and has been a Consultant of the Mayor’s Action Command (MAC) from 1999 to 2003. He has been a Barangay Kagawad and Barangay Captain of Barangay New Zaniga. He founded the Anthony Suva Fire and Rescue Volunteer and led the group for almost 20 years. He has been a three-termer Councilor who has served the people of Mandaluyong and set the bar high in public service.
As two-term Vice-Mayor and Presiding Officer, he held the Chairmanship of the Committee on Special Projects & Activities, Tourism and Ethics. He also served as the National Deputy Treasurer of the Vice-Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) and as the Regional Vice-President of the VMLP-NCR.
He is currently holding Chairmanship of the Committee on Transportation, Traffic, Communication, and Tricycle Franchising Board.
