Mandaluyong Is 2019 National Outstanding Volunteer Awardee (LGU Category).

Mayor Menchie Abalos presents at the city’s first Morning Program the 2019 National Outstanding Volunteer Award from the National Economic Development Authority-Philippine National Volunteer Agency, the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the House Committee on People Participation. Mandaluyong is the first ever city to be recognized with the award for being a front-runner in providing a volunteering platform to mobilize residents towards national development.
