MANDALUYONG IS K TO 12 READY

Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos led the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Isaac Lopez Integrated School (ILIS) during the recent inaugural blessing of the state-of-the-art classrooms for the K to 12 program in public schools in the city. The Commercial Cooking/Food Beverages course offered at ILIS is accompanied with a kitchen-like classroom furnished with various cooking and baking equipment. There are 39 Technical-Vocational Laboratories and Home Economics classrooms constructed and furnished by the city for the K to 12 program. In line with the inaugural blessing is the formal opening of the newly-constructed extension office of the Schools Division Office-Mandaluyong.
