Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos led the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Jose Fabella Memorial School (JFMS) during the recent inaugural blessing of the state-of-the-art classrooms for the K to 12 program in public schools in the city. Students who will take the Beauty and Wellness course will learn nail care, wellness massage and hairdressing inside a salon-and-spa room. A total of 39 Technical-Vocational Laboratories and Home Economics classrooms were constructed and furnished by the city for the K to 12 program. In line with the inaugural blessing is the formal opening of the newly-constructed extension office of the Schools Division Office-Mandaluyong.
