According to Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin DC. Abalos, Jr., since the implementation of Mandaluyong City Ordinance No. 550 also known as “Motorcycle Riding-in-Tandem Ordinance” on September 4, 2014, there has been ZERO (0) crime rate logged in this city to-date. A total of 594 riders/violators have been apprehended since the implementation of the ordinance wherein three (3) simultaneous checkpoints are being conducted and manned by PNP personnel and Oplan Sita on identified 12 entrances / exits manned by Pulis sa Barangay and Deputized Barangay Officials
