NEW UNIFORMS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS

Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita ‘Menchie’ Abalos, along with other city officials, formally turned over the uniforms and school supplies to students studying in public schools in the city.  The ceremonial turnover is part of the city’s ‘Balik-Eskwela’ campaign. Each student in public day-care, elementary and high schools in Mandaluyong are given two sets of school uniform, one set of P.E. uniform, a pair of shoes, socks and a set of school supplies (which includes bags, writing instruments, school diaries and notebooks) which they will use for this year. Several principals and students from the different public schools in the city received the uniforms and supplies during the short ceremony at the city hall executive building.
