MATH ACHIEVERS

Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos (center) joins Math achievers Sean Neyers Gungon from Renato Lopez Elementary School (5th, left), Kurt Patrick Mamba (5th, right) from Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A. Gonzales and Krizane Chanel Mejica (4th, right) from Mandaluyong  Science High School at the City Hall Executive Building. Gungon won first place at the recently-concluded 2018 Metrobank – Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines (MTAP) – DepEd Math Challenge (MMC). Meanwhile, Bamba and Mejica will represent the Philippines in the upcoming 43rd Annual International Mathematics League Competition to be held at the University of Nevada, U.S.A. on June 1 and 2.
